Data Matrix codes on diaphragm valves: Digital access to certificates and product data
Bürkert Fluid Control Systems is expanding its digital offer: the first types of diaphragm valves are now being fitted with a Data Matrix Code (DMC). This 2D code, compliant with IEC 61406-1, enables the unique, machine-readable identification of every single product. At the same time, it forms the basis for traceability throughout the entire product lifecycle and enables digital information transfer to the customer. Where today it still takes considerable effort to search through documents, contact suppliers or check serial numbers, the code significantly simplifies the handling of product information.
